THE FUSION PROCESS
Bamboo Fusion patent production method is unique in that the poles are split, then shredded into induvidual strands.The strands are then placed into a chamber, adding heat and a water bourne adhesive, with 2,500 tons of pressure. After the curing process, the block or what resembles a railroad tie is sliced into flooring. The variety of natural colors are achieved through carbonization, a process of heat and steam treating the Bamboo. This method caramelizes the natural sugars in the strands, creating a richer, darker tone. What does all this mean? Choosing Bamboo Fusion results in one of the hardest, most enviromentally friendly, exotic floors available today.
