Supply as it is today. Suncrest Supply was founded in 1986 as the exclusive Formica Brand Distributor for South Florida. In 1995, Suncrest was purchased by Jerry Burtt, the Vice President of Formica Corp. Over the next 5 years Suncrest became the largest Formica distributor in the United States. In 2002, Suncrest became the exclusive Quick-Step Distributor for all of Florida. In 2003, Suncrest was awarded the National Distributor of the Year Award by Quick-Step. Beginning in 2002, and for 6 years in a row, Suncrest's Salesman, Mr. Bruce Stevenson, has won the Quick-Step National Distributor Salesman of the Year award. In 2003, Mr. Burtt won the ERNST&YOUNG ENTREPRENEUR OF THE YEAR award for Florida. In 2006, Quick-Step honored the Top 10 Best Distributor Salesman in the Country.
